INSPECT | Infrastructure Intelligence
Infrastructure intelligence
Recurring aerial inspection and data for the assets that keep economies running.
Infrastructure operators manage assets spread across long distances and complex environments. Turman Aviation is developing managed aerial programs that combine aviation operations, mission-specific sensing, data workflows and customer integration.
How it works
From asset to actionable information.
Asset
Define the infrastructure, corridor or operating area.
Aerial mission
Plan recurring inspection or monitoring around the asset and mission requirement.
Sensor data
Collect mission-appropriate visual, thermal, mapping or other approved data.
Analysis
Process mission data for changes, conditions or items requiring review.
Alert / report
Deliver structured information, imagery, reports or alerts.
Customer workflow
Integrate outputs into existing asset-management and operational processes where appropriate.
Asset types
Built for distributed and linear infrastructure.
Electric transmission & distribution
Recurring aerial inspection and data programs for geographically distributed power infrastructure.
Pipelines & rights-of-way
Monitoring concepts for pipeline corridors and associated rights-of-way.
Roads & rail
Aerial data collection for linear transportation infrastructure and corridors.
Ports & industrial sites
Mission-specific inspection and monitoring concepts for industrial and logistics infrastructure.
What operators can receive
Outputs defined for each program.
Depending on the mission and approved configuration, a program may be designed around:
- Scheduled inspection coverage
- Visual data
- Thermal data
- Mapping data
- Change detection
- Structured reports
- Alerts
- Data integration with existing workflows
Specific sensors, outputs and performance requirements are defined for each program.
A managed service
More than a flight.
Infrastructure Intelligence is designed as a recurring managed service rather than a collection of one-off drone flights.
Turman brings together the operating concept, aircraft and payload configuration, communications, flight operations, data workflow and customer integration around the infrastructure operator's requirement.
Shared platform architecture
One platform. Mission-specific configuration.
Where technically and regulatorily appropriate, infrastructure missions can use the same underlying fixed-wing VTOL and remote-operations architecture used for aerial logistics, configured with mission-specific sensor payloads rather than cargo.
The mission determines the configuration.
Connectivity & remote operations
Infrastructure missions are designed around resilient remote connectivity appropriate to the operating area and jurisdiction. Communications architecture is selected and validated for each deployed program.
Every mission operates within its own approval framework.
Inspection and aerial-work operations require the appropriate approvals in each country. These requirements are separate from cargo operations and from approvals that a technology partner may hold in another jurisdiction. Turman develops each operating concept around the applicable aviation, airspace, safety and mission requirements.
